As Co-Owner and Chief Operating Officer of Northern Airways, Chad Halvorson brings decades of aviation and business leadership experience to every aspect of the company. A seasoned airline captain for 17 years, Chad has built his career on a commitment to safety, professionalism, and exceptional customer service.

Before Northern Airways, Chad successfully launched and grew multiple businesses while continuing his aviation career. After transitioning from the airlines, he specialized in aircraft management, helping owners maximize the value of their aircraft through professional staffing, operational oversight, and personalized service.

Today, Chad combines his experience as both an executive and active pilot to ensure Northern Airways delivers the highest standards of safety, reliability, and client care. His hands-on approach provides aircraft owners, charter brokers, and travelers with the confidence that every flight is supported by experienced leadership and a team dedicated to excellence.

Chad’s vision for Northern Airways is simple: to provide a level of service, transparency, and operational excellence that builds lasting relationships and exceeds expectations. When he’s not overseeing operations, Chad can often be found in the cockpit, staying connected to the day-to-day experience that defines Northern Airways’ commitment to exceptional aviation service. CEO & Director of Maintenance

Chad Kubick is an aviation professional with more than 33 years of industry experience, including the past 12 years in charter operations. As CEO and Director of Maintenance supporting Northern Airways’ Part 135 operations, Chad plays a key role in maintaining the safety, reliability, and operational readiness of the company’s growing charter fleet.

Known for his hands-on leadership style and safety-first approach, Chad has helped support the expansion of fleet capabilities, operational growth, and customer-focused aviation services. His practical experience and fast-moving operational mindset have helped position Northern Airways for continued growth while maintaining a strong commitment to professionalism and customer satisfaction.

In addition to his leadership within charter operations, Chad also owns and oversees a Part 145 repair station that provides maintenance support for the Northern Airways fleet, helping ensure high standards of maintenance quality and operational support.

Chad holds his Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) certificate with Inspection Authorization (IA) and is also a licensed pilot, giving him a well-rounded understanding of both the technical and operational sides of aviation.
